I do! I am still interested in seeing it! Especially after hearing about your gym back on your world. I will be free in a few hours. It is a little slow here at the Center, but I am the only other person here right now besides the curator.

[Yeah, that is strange...]

That's good! In that case, just call me when you're finished with your shift, and I'll pick you up from the Welcome Center and from there, my Pokemon and I will be happy to show you our skills!

[IS THIS A DATE? IS HER HAIR GOOD ENOUGH TO GO OUT ON A DATE?]

A-ah, yes! Of course! I will do that! Until later then!

[She cuts the connection and spends the next few hours of her shift split between checking her reflection in anything that she can see it in and trying to straighten up the center around the few homeless people that were still staying there while their homes were being repaired.

Tentatively, at the end of her shift, she pings Cilan. She takes a moment to gather herself before speaking. She's normal. Normal. Normal, dammit!]

Cilan-san, are you still interested in showing me your Pokémon today? I am about to leave the Welcome Center in a few minutes otherwise.

[cilantro]

Yes! In fact, I think you'll be able to find us right away once you step outside.

[... And yes, sure enough, when Sonia does step outside the Welcome Center after her shift, it should be easy to spot that green hair and the Pansage currently riding along on his shoulder. He's also got what appears to be a basket with him, but it's one of those baskets with a lid over-top so it's contents are a mystery at the moment.

Once he spots Sonia, he's smiling brightly and waving, as is Pansage copying it's trainer. Hi Sonia~!]

[She does see Cilan and his Pansage as soon as she steps out and all of her nervousness about anything fades. No matter if this is a date or not, she enjoys talking to Cilan. Spending time with him will no doubt be enjoyable, even if all they do is sit around and talk while the Dark Devas and Cilan's Pokémon run around.

She waves in return as she heads towards him, spotting the basket as well.]

Oh, was this going to be a picnic as well? I... don't have anything to contribute.

[cilantro]

Oh no, it's quite alright! I didn't bring anything too fancy with me, but you'll have to wait until we reach our destination to see what's inside.

[He steps back, with an inclination of the head.]

Shall we be on our way?

[The more he talks, the more this sounds like a date! A date that she wasn't even sure about but would love to join him on!

She beams him a bright, happy smile and steps out to put the sun to shame.]

Are we going outside of town? Red-san said that outside would be the best way to watch Pokémon. I also heard from someone else that there is a large lake not that far from the edge of the city. I haven't been out much.

[cilantro]

Indeed, there is. There's an area just a few feet away from the lake that's a spot with good taste in regards to training Pokemon, as well as being a very pleasant area to sit and relax in general.

[And now, this will be your chance to see it! It's going to be a very nice open field by the lake, large enough to allow Pokemon to roam around as well as setting up a picnic, if one should happen to have the items for such a thing...]

That sounds excellent!

[She clasps her hands in front of her body as they walk but as soon as they arrive to the area, she looks like an excited child as she admires the scenery.]

It's so beautiful here. I didn't know that there was a spot like this so close by! I would have made an effort to explore outside of the city more if I had.

[cilantro]

The scenery here has a sweet and relaxing fragrance... this is one of my favorite places to go to sometimes, to be honest. As such, I'm glad that you like this taste.

[He moves a hand past the lid of the basket to pull out what appears to be a blanket, which he'll spread out on the ground here, and place the basket down upon before he turns his attention to Sonia.

... And then proceeds to offer a bow and hand gestured out, as if offering the best seat in the place. Your throne awaits, my lady.]

[She lets out a soft laugh as she daintily sits on the blanket that he's spread out.]

So, are we going to watch your Pokémon perform or eat food first? Or will this be dinner and a performance at the same time? I must admit that I am very curious as to what Pansage-san can do.

[cilantro]

We can do both if you'd like, though I will also need to oversee the Pokemon's training as we do so.

[And now he's taking out two more pokeballs, tossing them into the air to reveal Stunfisk and Crustle now joining us along with Pansage.]

Alright, everyone, it's training time~! And this time, we have an audience: Miss Sonia's going to be watching, so please be mindful of keeping anything from going astray and reaching this spot here: consider it part of your training in regards to control and aim.

[The Pokemon nod in unison to that, before they then turn and nod respectfully to Sonia as well. We'll do our best to show off our amazing skills in front of you, okay?]

I don't wish to get in the way of your training. That is very important, both for yourself and for your team.

[When he summons the others, she claps her hands together a bit in excitement. And yes, there are sparkles visible in the air from all of her appreciative sounds and the like. She also waves as the Dark Devas start to creep out of her hair and get comfortable in her lap.]

Please don't worry about me! Just behave like we aren't here.

[Cilan nods at that, before he turns his attention to his Pokemon.]

Okay... let's start with an exercise for practicing some of our attacks and aim here: Pansage, I want you to use Bullet Seed, and Stunfisk and Crustle, I want you to use Scald and X-Scissor. Let's have the two of you work together to try to hit the seeds before they hit the ground. Pansage, your goal is to be creative in regards to how you use Bullet Seed, alright?

[The three Pokemon nod, before they then move away and take different spots in the field. For a moment, nothing seems to be happening...

And then suddenly, Pansage opens it's mouth, a green glow of light there as it suddenly begins spitting a rapid-fire array of seeds through the air in an arc, towards the other two Pokemon. In response, Stunfisk opens it's own mouth and a spray of steaming hot water to try to hit the ones coming in it's direction, while Crustle holds up a claw, glowing green and swings it around to strike any seeds that are falling closer to the ground where it's currently standing.]

[Sonia watches in awe at the display. While she'd heard from both him and Red about the abilities of Pokémon, she hadn't truly expected to see them in action, hadn't thought about what it is they'd do in a battle.]

That is wonderful! They have been so beautifully trained that they make such a delightful team!

[She tips her head to the side in thought.]

Though, I do wonder where the seeds come from. Does Pansage-san have an endless supply to use in battle?

[cilantro]

He does! He can use however many seeds he's capable of firing during a battle, though it also depends on his current stamina as well.

[There's a pause as he watches the training on-going, before...]

Okay, Stunfisk, I want you to switch to using Thundershock to try to hit the seeds: let's get a good work out here, okay?

[Now, Cilan's Stunfisk begins crackling with energy, and it starts firing off sparks of electricity at the oncoming seeds. This makes it a little more difficult than it's previous strategy of having a large spray of water to knock them away, but otherwise the Pokemon seem to still be managing themselves well enough.]

That makes sense. It's a very ingenious technique. Pansage-san's physiology does seem suited to plant-based attacks, though I'm not sure that that is the most logical solution to fighting against the others.

[She anxiously watches the new attacks, the Dark Devas moving forward to get better looks at the Pokémon as they practice.

For a date, it's not that bad. She's having fun, even if it's very unconventional.]
